I have seen Mr Almeyda on one occasion following issues with my balance experienced over a number of months. I found him to be extremely courteous and attentive. He allowed me plenty of time to describe the history and symptoms of my condition before working through a number of tests. His thoroughness was reassuring as I felt that all options had been properly explored and his conclusions were well founded. Such consultations are obviously anxiety-making but his calm and measured approach went a long way to allaying some of those fears. He followed up the appointment with a very detailed letter to my GP which described the process and conclusions drawn. Again, it was reassuring to have a written record that I could refer to. Overall I felt that I had been listened to throughout and my experience was one of exemplary care, for which I am very grateful.

After suffering for over 2 years with nasal polyps and seeing other specialists, I finally was referred to Mr Almeyda. He was and has been amazing at diagnosing as well as understanding how distressing it had been. He not only dealt with my nasal issues but has referred me to someone to help with my asthma which has worsened in the last couple of years. I have since referred him to a couple of friends.
